Elegant Artists: A Residence of Elegance and Artistry

An Exquisite Blend of Colors, Lines, and Materials

What sets Elegant Artists apart is its meticulous attention to detail and the clever use of gradation and rhythmic repetition. Whether in the public or private areas, the color scheme coordination and material deployment create a consistent and comfortable perception of an enlarged space within the confines of the interior.

The design of Elegant Artists was brought to life through the use of various techniques and materials. Paint, imported tiles, painted veneer, painted metalwork, scratch-resistant timber flooring, decorative boards, and colored glass all play a role in creating the unique atmosphere of this residence.

Spanning approximately 83 square meters, Elegant Artists encompasses a living room, dining area, kitchen, master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a secondary bedroom, and two bathrooms. The layout of the interior was carefully planned, with alterations made to the orientation of the bathroom door and the shifting of the master bedroom wall to maximize comfort and functionality.

Completed in February 2019 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, Elegant Artists is a testament to the extensive research and creative vision of the design team. The concept of Elegant Artists was inspired by the fashionable and elegant mindset of the clients, with minimal lines, exquisite marble, and carefully chosen colors and materials permeating the interior, creating a space that is both visually stunning and harmonious.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was ensuring that the living room exuded a posh and flowing look. The design team meticulously discussed the mosaic detailing of every piece of marble tile, as each unique pattern induced a visually interesting abstract painting, adding depth and character to the space.

Upon entry, Elegant Artists leaves a lasting impression with its white lining boards traversing the ceiling, walls, and cabinets, creating a sense of continuity and visual consistency. The use of marble throughout the interior further enhances the spatial layers and adds a touch of luxury. The open plan and transparent materiality of the public areas seamlessly connect the different domains, creating a sense of openness and fluidity.

Elegant Artists has been recognized for its exceptional design and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that showcase ingenuity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving the quality of life through the integration of art, science, design, and technology.
